"'Nook' is devilish good fun!"

Brilliantly cast, delightfully played, this crew do a wonderful job. What stands out are the polished timing and quick, effervescent exchanges between characters -- a must for this quick- witted farce. The Cannon Theatre is a charming, intimate venue, a perfect fit for this genre. The house and stage are close and cozy. With this drama, every seat in the house feels a bit too close for comfort -- just as the director would have it! Whether you're schooled in Oscar Wilde and Ben Travers or spoon-fed by Eric Idle and John Cleese (like me), you'll love this performance.

"Hilarious and enjoyable, worth 10X the ticket price"

This was the first time I attended a performance at the Cannon Theatre. So I wasn't sure what to expect. The Cannon Theatre is located in an old brick building with plenty of easy parking in the rear. The theatre itself is small and comfortable with a nicely done set and excellent lighting. I was surprised how nice everything looked when the lights popped on for the first time. The play is hilarious--from start to finish. I haven't laughed that hard and that long for a good while--and it keeps getting funnier as the play progresses, which is not easy to do. Classic British comedy, but family friendly. The acting was fantastic with a broad range of very memorable and very convincing characters--especially the timid, hat biting husband. That guy cracks me up! This was a great play. The experience was worth far more than the ticket price.

Wonderful, witty dialogue and perfectly-timed physical comedy keep the audience in stitches from start to finish. Your sides will be sore from laughing! A very fun performance.

"Small theater, big talent. Terrific show."

Littleton's Cannon Theatre serves up a sparkling debut performance with "Rookery Nook" directed by David Nanto. Spot-on casting and perfectly choreographed timing deliver laugh after laugh in this smart, witty farce set in 1920's Somerset, England. An impressive show from a mix of young and seasoned actors. Great for a date or for the family (middle school and up).

"Brilliant!"

This was a very enjoyable outing for my family. From my 8 year old niece to my 75 year old father, everyone was soon belly laughing at the foibles and follies. I was especially taken with the characters Mr. Twine and Clive. Watch for them. I don't attend too many theater productions (one or two a year) but this was great and I'm thinking of seeing it again!

I attended Rookery Nook the day my kids' report cards came out. This production gets straight A's. Cast plays well together and exceeds expectations.

"WONDERFUL!!"

The Cannon Theater is a small community theater with a wonderful atmosphere. The play was brilliantly directed and the actors and actresses were amazing. I did not know quite what to expect, but I left with a smile saying to the actors, "see you later old boy". It was a wonderful play that my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed.
